how to get the battery percentage visible on the iphone

First you go to settings then click on the general botton and you should see more buttons: about,software update, siri, spotlight search,handoff & suggested apps,accessibility, usage, etc. You click on the usage button and more buttons will show up, you should see a button that says battery percentage, followed by a switch you slide your finger right on the switch. Then you should see the percentage next to the battery symbol.
